Xiaomi India has partnered with Dixon Technologies to manufacture smartphones in India for exports and the domestic market. As per the two companies, the partnership will also work on improving the component ecosystem in India through Dixon’s subsidiaries.
The companies have not opened up about the specifics of the partnerships yet. The announcement for making smartphones in India comes just days after Xiaomi signed up Optiemus Electronics to manufacture bluetooth audio products nationwide.
