Wipro has entered into a three-year partnership with Microsoft to offer artificial intelligence (AI)-led transformation tools to enterprises, as the Copilot-maker steps up its AI investments in India. Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly develop AI solutions for sectors including financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, airports, and others.
The collaboration will combine Microsoft’s platforms such as Azure, Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry and select third-party integrations with Wipro’s offerings, including NetOxygen, Wealth AI and Falcon Supply Chain.
As per Microsoft, Wipro is among a group of “frontier firms” that have each deployed more than 50,000 Microsoft Copilot licences and are building large-scale “AI factories” to create industry-specific digital agents and experiences.
