Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has laun­ched two new recharge plans worth Rs 297 and Rs 594 for JioPhone users. The Rs 297 plan offers unlimited free voice calls, 300 free SMSs for 28 days and 0.5 GB high speed data per day with a cap of 42 GB. On the other hand, the Rs 594 plan offers unlimited free voice calls, 300 SMSs for 28 days and 0.5 GB high speed data per day with a cap of 84 GB. The Rs 297 plan comes with a total validity of 84 days, whereas the Rs 594 plan comes with a total validity of 168 days.

RJIL has launched a plan for Jio Prime users, offering 10 GB free data under the Jio celebration pack on a random basis. This plan has a validity of five days and offers 2 GB data per day over and above the current data benefit.

Bharti Airtel has launched two long-term plans worth Rs 998 and Rs 597. The Rs 998 plan offers unlimited local and STD calling, 300 SMSs per month (which would be renewed every 28 days) and 12 GB data for the total validity period of 336 days. Meanwhile, the Rs 597 plan offers un­limited local and STD calling, 300 SMSs per month (which would be renew­ed every 28 days) and 6 GB data for the total validity period of 168 days.

Bharti Airtel has replaced the plans worth Rs 344 and Rs 559 under its first recharge prepaid plans for new users with a new prepaid plan worth Rs 76. The subscribers of this plan would be offered a talktime of Rs 26, 100 MB data, and local and STD calls will be charged at 60 paise per minute. This plan has a validity of 28 days.

Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs 199 prepaid recharge plan. It will now offer 1.5 GB daily under the plan instead of the 1.4 GB data offered earlier, which amounts to 2.8 GB additional 4G data. The plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls without any fair usage policy (FUP) limit and 100 SMSs per day. This plan has a total validity period of 28 days.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched a combination special tariff voucher worth Rs 269 on the occasion of Republic Day. The plan provided a total talktime of 2,600 minutes on any network, 260 free SMSs and 2.6 GB data. The total validity period of the plan was 26 days and it was available from 26 January 2019 to 31 January 2019.

BSNL has revised the validity of its voice-only prepaid plan worth Rs 319 from 90 days to 84 days. This plan offers unlimited local, national and roaming calls pan-India, except in the Delhi and Mumbai circles. BSNL has also revised its post-paid plans worth Rs 525 and Rs 725 in order to offer double data benefit to its users. The Rs 525 plan offers 40 GB data per month as against 15 GB earlier. Meanwhile, the Rs 725 plan offers 50 GB for the total validity period.

Vodafone has introduced a new annual prepaid recharge plan worth Rs 1,999. This plan offers free and unlimited voice calls, 100 free text messages and 1.5 GB LTE data per day. It is available for a total validity period of 365 days. The plan has only been launched in Kerala and will be later extended to other circles.

Vodafone has launched a new recharge plan worth Rs 119. This plan offers unlimited voice calls and 1 GB 4G data for a total validity period of 28 days. However, no SMS benefits are offered under this plan. Apart from this, Vodafone has launched a prepaid plan worth Rs 49, which offers 1 GB 4G data for a total validity period of 28 days. However, no talktime is offered under this plan.

Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) has laun­ched a new annual prepaid plan worth Rs 1,499. It offers unlimited calling without any FUP limit, 100 SMSs per day and 1 GB data per day, which could be used over 2G/3G/4G networks. The plan has a total validity period of 365 days. This plan has been introduced only in select circles across India. While Idea Cellular has introduced this plan in 10 telecom circles, Vodafone has introduced this plan in about five telecom circles. In addition, Vodafone has launched an annual prepaid plan worth Rs 1,699. This plan has replaced the Rs 1,499 plan in some circles, while it coexists with the Rs 1,499 plan in a few circles.
