RCOM has launched a new voice calling and data plan at Rs 149 per month. It allows customers to make unlimited voice calls including long distance calls to landlines as well as mobile phones on any network in the country and provides 300 MB of free data. According to the operator, the “149 Unlimited” plan is available across the 2G, 3G and 4G platforms.
RCOM has also launched the RGC India application for making international voice calls at Rs 1.40 per minute. The application would allow customers to make voice calls to the US, the UK and Canada. In addition, the operator is offering affordable tariff plans for other regions including the UAE, Africa and Latin America. The service is available to all mobile and wireline users including prepaid and post-paid subscribers of RCOM, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India, Idea Cellular, Tata Teleservices Limited, Aircel and MTS. In order to avail of the service, users will have to register for the RGC application through the website or download the application from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store. The application also allows subscribers to set up a family account, which would serve as a single account for up to four users.
Vodafone India is offering 2 GB free data to customers who upgrade to 4G SIM cards in the Kolkata and West Bengal circles. According to the operator, the free data would be added to the customers’ balance within 48 hours of the SIM exchange process. Customers can get the 4G SIM cards from Vodafone stores, Vodafone mini stores and multi-brand outlets located across the two circles. While prepaid customers can avail of the offer for only 10 days after the SIM upgrade, post-paid customers can avail of the offer for one complete billing cycle.
Meanwhile, Vodafone India has also announced 2 GB free data for those customers who upgrade to 4G SIM cards in the Mumbai circle. Post the upgrade, prepaid customers can avail of the one-time offer for a period of 10 days. The free data will be added to the customers’ data balance within two hours of the SIM exchange. Meanwhile, post-paid customers can avail of the benefit for the entire billing cycle.
Aircel has launched a range of data and voice combo packs, namely, RC497, RC555, RC599 and RC799, in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to the operator, the products have been launched for high-end voice and data users in the region with an objective to increase data consumption. The RC497 pack offers 10 GB of 3G data to customers, while the RC555 pack offers a full talktime of Rs 555 along with 5 GB of 3G data. Meanwhile, the RC599 pack offers unlimited local calls and 1.5 GB of 3G data, while the RC799 pack offers unlimited local and STD calls along with 2.5 GB of 3G data. All the packs come with a validity of 28 days.
Tata DOCOMO has launched special prepaid packs priced at Rs 494 and Rs 500. The plan priced at Rs 500 offers talktime worth Rs 600, while the plan priced at Rs 494 offers unlimited STD and local calls for 30 days in the users’ home circle. Meanwhile, subscribers who require a mix of data and voice packs can recharge with the Rs 496 pack that offers a talktime of Rs 250 along with 5 GB of 3G/2G data, which is valid for 60 days. In addition, the operator has launched the Rs 495 pack for heavy data users, which offers 10 GB of 3G/2G data with a validity of 90 days.
