BlackBerry has launched its KEYone smartphone in India. It features a 4.5 inch in-plane swit­­ching (IPS) LCD display with a screen resolution of 1620×1080 pixels and a pixel density of 433 pixels per inch (ppi). The dual-SIM phone is powered by a 2 GHz Qualcomm Snap­dragon 625 octa-core processor and has 4 GB RAM. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system (OS) and has 64 GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 2 TB. The device is packed with a 3,505 mAh battery, and comes with a 12 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. It offers connectivity options such as 4G voice over long term evolution (VoLTE), dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C (3.1) and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The smartphone is priced at Rs 39,990.

Intex has launched its first 4G VoLTE feature phone, Intex Turbo+ 4G, as a part of its Nav­ratna series. The series includes one 4G VoLTE model and eight 2G models in the price range of Rs 700 to Rs 1500. The Turbo+ 4G features a 2.4 inch quarter video graphics array (QVGA) display and is equipped with a 2,000 mAh battery. The device is powered by a dual-core processor and has 512 MB RAM. The phone has 2 megapixel front and rear cameras. The handset comes with an expandable memory of up to 32 GB.

Coolpad has launched the Note 5 Lite C smartphone in India. The smartphone features a 5 inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The device runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS and is powered by a 1.1 GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor. It comes with 2 GB RAM and an internal memory of 16 GB that is expandable up to 64 GB. The phone has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It is equipped with a 2,500 mAh battery and has connectivity options like 2G, 3G and 4G VoLTE, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. It is available for Rs 7,777.

Lenovo has launched the K8 Note smartphone. It features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display and is powered by a deca-core Helio X23 processer. The device comes in two variants: 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, and 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery. The smartphone has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. Vodafone India has announced a new scheme for its prepaid customers in Rajasthan. Under the Vodafone 348 prepaid recharge offer, subscribers can avail of 1 GB data daily with unlimited voice calls (local and national) for 28 days. In addition, customers can enjoy unlimited calls with data benefits regardless of whether they are using 4G, 3G or 2G handsets. The tariff vouchers are available at all leading Vodafone stores, ministores and multibrand retail outlets across the state. Customers can also avail of this recharge pack through the MyVodafone app.

State-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched its mobile wallet in association with MobiKwik. The wallet will allow BSNL customers to make bill payments and transact on e-commerce platforms. According to BSNL, the wallet supports more than 1.5 million merchants on its network and is therefore the largest wallet launched by any telecom operator in India.

Aircel has introduced two new plans for Rs 499 and Rs 299 in the Jammu & Kas­h­­mir circle. These plans offer unlimited lo­c­al and STD calls and come with a validity of 84 days. Under the Rs 499 plan, subscribers get 168 GB of 3G data with a fair usage policy (FUP) limit of 2 GB per day and under the Rs 299 pack they get 84 GB of 3G data with an FUP limit of 1 GB per day.

Meanwhile, Aircel is also giving cashback of up to Rs 100 on the bill payment of Rs 200 through the Bharat QR (quick response) code. An Aircel subscriber can use this code along with the 10-digit Aircel number to avail of the cashback.

Vodafone India has partnered with Itel Mobile for a bundled offer on the latter’s feature phone. Vodafone users will get guaranteed cashback of Rs 900 on the purchase of Itel’s feature phone. The offer is available for both new as well as existing Vodafone subscribers from August 25, 2017 to October 31, 2017. In order to avail of this offer, customers need to recharge their Vodafone account with at least Rs 100 per month post which the account will be credited with extra talktime of Rs 50. Vodafone customers can avail of this cashback for a period of 18 months.

Vodafone India has launched the My­Vodafone app for its prepaid customers in the  Uttar Pradesh (East) circle. It can be downloaded free of cost by Android, iOS and Windows users. In addition, customers who recharge using the MyVo­­dafone app can avail of 5 per cent cashback on unlimited super plans and full talktime on recharge of Rs 110.
