Nubia has launched the Z17 mini smartphone. It features a 5.2 inch display with curved Gorilla Glass for protection. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and has 4 GB RAM. It comes with an internal memory of 64 GB, which is expandable up to 200 GB. It runs on the Android Marsh­­mallow-based Nubia UI 4.0 operating system (OS) and is equipped with a 2,950 mAh battery. The device has a 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony sensors (Monochrome + RGB) with f/2.2 aperture, NeoVision 6.0 and Sapphire Glass protection. The handset also has a 16 megapixel front camera with 80 degree wide angle 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999.

Motorola has launched the Moto Z2 Play smartphone in India. The smartphone features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Snap­dragon 626 octa-core processor. It has 4 GB RAM and an internal memory of 64 GB, which is further expandable up to 2 TB. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery. The device has a 12 megapixel rear camera with a dual pixel sensor, f/1.7 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. The camera is capable of recording 4K videos. The device also has an 8 megapixel front camera, which comes with dual-tone LED flash and is capable of recording 1080 pixel videos. The phone is priced at Rs 27,999.

iBall has launched its Slide Elan 4G2 tablet. It features a 10.10 inch display with a resolution of 800×1280 pixels. The device is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core processor and has 2 GB RAM. It comes with an internal memory of 16 GB (expandable up to 32 GB). It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is equipped with a 7,000 mAh battery. The device has a 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 2 megapixel front camera. For connectivity, it offers 4G voice over long term evolution (VoLTE), Wi-Fi 802, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and global positioning system (GPS). The tablet is priced at Rs 13,999.

Ziox Mobiles has launched the Ziox Astra Young 4G smartphone. It features a 5 inch full wide video graphics array display with dragontrail glass. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and has 512 MB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and is equipped with a 2,200 mAh battery. The device has a 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera. It is priced at Rs 4,795.

OnePlus has launched two variants of its OnePlus 5 smartphone. It features a 5.5 inch AMOLED display. The device is powered by a Qual­comm MSM8998 octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based Oxygen OS and is equipped with a 3,300 mAh battery. The two variants have 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM, and are priced at Rs 32,999 and Rs 37,999 respectively. The 6 GB variant has an internal memory of 64 GB and the 8 GB variant has an internal memory of 128 GB. The smartphone has 16 megapixel rear and front cameras.

Samsung has launched the new Samsung Galaxy On Max in India. It features a 5.7 inch FHD display, has 4 GB RAM and is packed with a 3,300 mAh battery. The device comes with 13 megapixel front and rear cameras, and is powered by a 1.69 GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone has 32 GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 256 GB. It is exclusively available on Flipkart in black and gold colour variants, and is priced at Rs 16,900.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched the Moto E4 Plus smartphone. It features a 5.5 inch HD display and is packed with a 5,000 mAh battery. The device runs on the Android Nougat 7.1.1. OS and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. It is available in 2 GB RAM and 3 GB RAM variants. The smartphone comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Vodafone has announced new voice and data plans in the Uttar Pradesh (West) and Uttarakhand circles. The plan rates range from Rs 5 to Rs 345. The Rs 5 plan offers unlimited 2G data for one hour. The corresponding plan for 3G customers is priced at Rs 19. Vodafone has also announced two new plans with a validity of 28 days. The Rs 253 plan offers unlimited 2G data along with free local and STD calls, whereas the Rs 345 plan offers 1 GB of 3G data per day and unlimited local and STD calls. These plans are a part of Vodafone’s special Ramzan pack.

Idea Cellular has announced a new voice and data plan. The plan, priced at Rs 396, offers unlimited calling and 70 GB of data with a validity of 70 days and a cap of 1 GB per day. However, the data pack is only limited to 3G speeds and the unlimited calling is restricted to only Idea numbers. Calls made to other networks have a limit of 3,000 minutes for the entire duration of the validity period. This is further capped at 300 minutes a day and 1,200 minutes per week. The company has not been promoting its recharge pack and customers have to check on their own whether the offer is valid for their mobile number.

Vodafone has launched a new voice call and data pack in the Assam and Northeast circle. The plan offers unlimited calling and national roaming, and 25 GB of data per month. The pack is priced at Rs 786. Vodafone is also offering 50 per cent discount on all the premium SIM card series with the number “786”. This plan is a part of Vodafone’s special Ramzan pack.

Reliance Communications is offering up to 28 per cent discount on some of its post-paid plans in the Delhi, Mumbai, Karnataka, Tamil, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh circles. The discounts are applicable on the plans priced at Rs 699, Rs 499 and Rs 299, which will now be available for Rs 499, Rs Rs 399 and Rs 249 respectively. The Rs 499 and 399 plans provide unlimited voice calls to any network, free incoming/outgoing calls on roaming and 3,000 free SMSs. The Rs 499 plan offers 30 GB of data for 30 days while the Rs 399 plan offers 15 GB of data for 30 days. Meanwhile, the Rs 249 plan offers 6 GB data, free calls to any network, free incoming calls under roaming and 100 free SMSs for 30 days.

Vodafone has launched a new prepaid tariff plan, called SuperNight, under which it is offering unlimited 3G/4G data for five hours at night at Rs 29. The plan benefits are applicable only between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. The plan can be purchased via digital platforms and retail touch points for an unlimited number of times.

Vodafone has launched Vodafone Red Shield, a device security solution with an insurance cover, for the residents of Rajasthan at a price of Rs 5,000. The protection cover will be valid for new handsets and six-month old handsets. It also provides a theft cover along with basic handset damage cover and antivirus protection. Vodafone Red post-paid customers can avail of the scheme by downloading the Vodafone Red Shield application.

Aircel has launched the “Good Morning” pack for its prepaid subscribers in the Jammu & Kashmir circle. The plan offers 1 GB of 3G data for two hours in the morning at Rs 3 per day. The plan benefits are applicable only between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. It can be purchased through digital platforms as well as from all retail touch points. The pack can be purchased repeatedly unlimited number of times.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new prepaid plan priced at Rs 444. The plan offers 4 GB of 3G data per day and comes with a validity of 90 days. The new offer follows BSNL’s earlier unlimited data plan, “Triple ACE”, under which it offered 3 GB data per day for Rs 333 with a validity of 90 days.

Airtel has launched its Monsoon Surprise Offer, under which it is providing up to 30 GB of 4G data to its post-paid subscribers. The offer is valid on Airtel’s Rs 499, Rs 649 and Rs 799 post-paid plans. The plan, which is an extension of Airtel’s previous “Data Surprise” plan, offers three tranches of 10 GB data on a monthly basis, totalling a data allowance of 30 GB in three months. The offer will be automatically withdrawn after a period of three months.

BSNL has launched the “Sixer 666” plan for its prepaid customers. The plan is priced at Rs 666 and offers 2 GB of 3G data and unlimited voice calls for 60 days. The Prepaid customers can switch to other BSNL plans after the expiry of this plan. Previously, the company had introduced the “Chaukka-444” plan that offers 4 GB of 3G data per day for 90 days.
