Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new recharge pack, which is priced at Rs 339. It provides 2 GB data and unlimited calls per day within BSNL’s network. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days and offers 25 minutes of free calls to other networks. After exhausting the 25-minute limit, customers will be charged at Re 0.25 per minute. The offer is limited for 90 days. In a separate development, BSNL plans to offer 1 GB of free data to smartphone users who have a BSNL connection but are not using the company’s data services. The offer will be available on a pan-Indian basis.
Idea Cellular has launched two new post-paid plans, priced at Rs 499 and Rs 999. The Rs 999 plan offers 8 GB data per billing cycle for users with 4G phones, while those with 2G/3G handsets get 5 GB data. Besides, customers will get free 3 GB data every month until December 31, 2017. Meanwhile, the Rs 499 plan offers 3 GB data to 4G users and 1 GB data to 2G/3G handset users. In addition, customers will get free 3 GB data every month until December 31, 2017. The operator is also providing free unlimited local and STD outgoing calls, free incoming calls on roaming, 3,000 local and STD SMSs, and free subscription to its movies and music applications. Apart from this, users opting for the Rs 999 plan also get free outgoing calls while roaming.
Aircel has launched three new combo packs that offer unlimited voice calling and data services in Karnataka. The combo packs are priced at Rs 82, Rs 191 and Rs 291. The Rs 291 pack offers unlimited Aircel-to-Aircel calling (local and STD), 108,000 local and STD seconds from Aircel to other networks and 5 GB of 3G data. The Rs 82 pack offers local Aircel calls at Re 0.10 per minute and calls on other networks at Re 0.25 per minute with a validity of 180 days. It also offers 200 MB of 3G data and free incoming on roaming for 28 days. Meanwhile, under the Rs 4,000 pack, Airtel is giving 6 GB of 4G data per month for six months along with a free hotspot device. Airtel also has other 4G hotspot plans starting from Rs 450 for 4 GB of 4G data per month to Rs 4,000 for 60 GB of 4G data per month.
