Panasonic has launched the Eluga Ray 530 sm­ar­t­­phone. It features a 5.7 inch HD+ Big View display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The handset has a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 mega­pixel front camera. It is equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. Honor has launched the Honor 8X smartphone. It features a 6.5 inch notch display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The handset comes with a 20+2 megapixel rear camera and a 16 megapixel front camera. It is equipped with a 3,750 mAh battery and is powered by a Kirin 710 2.2 GHz octa-core processor. The phone is available in three variants of RAM and storage – 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage, 6 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage. Micromax has launched the Bharat 5 Infinity edition and the Bharat 4 Diwali edition. Both the phones feature a 5 inch display. While Bharat 5 Infinity has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera, Bharat 4 Diwali has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. Bharat 5 Infinity is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and Bharat 4 Diwali with a 3,000 mAh battery. The former comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64 GB via a microSD card) while the latter offers 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card). Both the phones run on Android Go. The Bharat 5 Infinity and Bharat 4 Diwali handsets are available for Rs 5,899 and Rs 4,249 respectively.

Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL), in partnership with Canara Bank, is offering a 50 per cent discount on monthly rental bills of post-paid customers. To avail of this offer, customers will have to apply for a new Citibank credit card and spend Rs 4,000 within 60 days of the card issuance. Further, customers using Vodafone Red or Idea Nirvana plans of Rs 399 and above will get a cashback worth Rs 2,400 for a year on their post-paid rentals. The cashback will be offered at a rate of Rs 200 per month on 12 bills.

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has launched Reliance Digital coupons for its prepaid customers. Under this offer, Jio prepaid users will get Reliance Digital coupons worth 100 per cent on the recharge of Rs 149 and above from the Reliance Digital Store, MyJio, Jio.com, or any of the online partners. The coupons will be credited to the users’ MyJio account and can be redeemed at Reliance Digital or Jio stores.

RJIL has launched a special one-year plan worth Rs 1,699 offering unlimited voice and data up to 547 GB with a daily cap of 1.5 GB. In addition, users will get 100 SMSs daily with a complimentary subscription to Jio apps along with Jio Prime membership. The plan has a validity of 365 days.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched an unlimited special tariff voucher (STV) at Rs 78 on the occasions of Durga Puja, Dussehra and Diwali for all its prepaid customers. The STV-78 offers unlimited data, voice calls and video calls. It has a validity of 10 days.

Bharti Airtel has launched the Airtel Thanks programme for its subscribers. Under this programme, the operator will offer free Netflix subscription for three months with a gift worth Rs 1,500 to its users on Infinity post-paid plans of Rs 499 and above. In addition, users would get prepaid coupons worth Rs 2,000 (Rs 40 each) on the purchase of a new 4G smartphone. Prepaid users can redeem these coupons with prepaid recharges of Rs 199, Rs 249 and Rs 448. Moreover, post-paid users using the Infinity plan of above Rs 399 can also avail of this offer.

BSNL has launched two annual plans of Rs 1,699 and Rs 2,099 for its prepaid mobile customers. Under the Rs 1,699 plan, users will get unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls for 365 days and an fair usage policy (FUP) limit of 2 GB per day. On the other hand, the Rs 2,099 plan offers unlimited voice calling to any network located in India, 100 SMSs per day and free personal ringback tone for 365 days and an FUP limit of 4 GB per day.

Bharti Airtel has launched a prepaid plan at Rs 398. The plan offers 1.4 GB data, 100 SMSs per day, and unlimited local and STD calls. The plan comes with a validity of 70 days.

Bharti Airtel has launched a segmented prepaid recharge plan of Rs 119. This plan offers 2 GB of 4G/3G/2G data without any FUP limit, unlimited voice calling and 300 SMSs for a period of 28 days to a select few users. The remaining users will get 1 GB of 4G/3G/2G data along with unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls, and 300 SMSs for 14 days. If the users fall under the segmented offer, they will get the plan for 28 days; otherwise they will get the 1 GB plan with a validity of 14 days.
