Spice Mobility has partnered with MediaTek and Google for the Android Oreo Go edition. The offer will be available on unlimited plan vouchers like Rs 186, Rs 429, Rs 485, Rs 666 and Rs 999, and unlimited special tariff vouchers (STVs) like Rs 187, Rs 333, Rs 349, Rs 444 and Rs 448. The pack is valid for a period of 60 days.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced a new prepaid STV 171 plan for its customers. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days. Under this plan, MTNL users will get 1.5 GB of data per day along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMSs per day. Once the daily data limit is exhausted, customers will be charged 3 paise per 10 KB. However, there is no limitation on voice calling.
Bharti Airtel has announced a new prepaid plan for its users in India. The new Rs 597 pack, having a validity of 168 days, offers unlimited voice calls without any fair usage policy limit along with 10 GB data. Apart from this, the user will also get 100 SMSs per day for 168 days. However, it will only be available for users in a few regions and may not be launched as an open market plan.

BSNL has launched its internet telephony (VoIP) service under the brand name, Wings. The service can be availed of by installing an SIP client or soft application on a smartphone or a tablet. The app will allow users to make and receive calls from anywhere in India or abroad with the help of a landline or mobile. The service uses a mobile numbering scheme and is being provided using an IP-based access network of IMS NGN Core switches. Customers can enjoy unlimited audio or video calls for a year by paying a one-time activation fee of Rs 1,099. The connections would be made available on a first come, first served basis.
