Ziox Mobiles has launched the Tubelight feature phone in In­­dia. It features a 2.4 inch bri­ght display screen. The device is equipped with an 1,800 mAh lithium-ion battery. It comes with a digital camera and an inbuilt storage of 32 GB that is expandable. In addition, the phone has a mobile tracker, GPRS and WAP. It also has features such as wireless FM, speed dial, Bluetooth and SOS. The handset is priced at Rs 915.

 

Micromax Informatics has launched the Bharat 5 Pro smartphone in India. It features a 5.2 inch HD in-plane switching in-plane switching (IPS) display with a screen resolution of 720x 1080 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and has 3 GB RAM. It runs on the Android Nougat operating system (OS) and is packed with a 5,000 mAh battery. Itel has also launched the A44 smartphone in India. It features a 5.45 inch full wide video graphics array (FWVGA+) display with a screen resolution of 480×960 pixels. The device is powered by a quad-core processor and has 1 GB RAM. It comes with 8 GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable and runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The handset is equipped with a 2,400 mAh battery,  and comes with 5 megapixel rear camera and front cameras with LED flash. The phone is available for Rs 5,799.

 

LG has launched the X4 Plus smartphone in India. It features a 5.3 inch display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qual­comm Snap­dragon 425 processor and has 2 GB RAM. It runs on the Android Nou­gat OS and is packed with a 3,000 mAh battery. Vodafone India has collaborated with Tecno smartphones and is giving cashback of Rs 2,200 on the purchase of its new Camon i-series of 4G handsets. In addition, customers will be given a free subscription of Vodafone Play for three months. The offer is valid from March 14, 2018 to June 30, 2018. Prepaid customers can also avail of this offer by doing a recharge of Rs 150 per month for 18 months, for which they will be given a cashback of Rs 900. With an additional recharge of Rs 150 for the next 18 months, customers will receive a cashback of Rs 1,300. The cashback will be credited to their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets. Vodafone’s cashback offer is also applicable to Tecno’s i-series handsets like the i3, i3 pro, i5, i5 pro and i7 smartphones that are priced in the range of Rs 6,990 to Rs 14,990. Bharti Airtel is offering down payment options, instant financing and bundled monthly plans on the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus range from its online store. Samsung Galaxy S9 (64 GB variant) is available at a down payment of Rs 9,900 with 24 monthly instalments of Rs 2,499. The monthly instalments are inclusive of the post-paid plan offering 80 GB data, unlimited calling and subscription to Amazon Prime, Airtel Secure, Airtel TV and Wynk Music.

Bharti Airtel has launched a new post-paid plan for Rs 499. Under the plan, customers can avail of unlimited data, calls and additional benefits. The company is offering 40 GB of 3G/4G data with a validity of one month. The package will also provide unlimited local, STD, incoming and outgoing roaming calls. Apart from this, there will be additional benefits like one-year Amazon Prime subscription and access to Wynk Music, Live TV and handset damage protection. The operator has also launched two post-paid plans in the higher range that are priced at Rs 799 and Rs 1,199, which provide 60 GB and 90 GB of 3G/4G data respectively, along with unlimited roaming, local and STD calls. In addition, there is free add-on connection facility offered under both the plans. In the lower range, Airtel has launched a Rs 399 post-paid plan under which it is providing 20 GB of 3G/4G data along with unlimited roaming, STD and local calls. Besides, the plan offers access to Wynk Music. How­ever, plans priced at Rs 399 and Rs 499 do not offer a free add-on connection facility.

Bharti Airtel has launched a new recharge pack worth Rs 65 for select prepaid subscribers. Under the plan, Airtel is providing 1 GB of data with a validity of 28 days. Users can avail of 1 GB of 2G or 3G data for the entire validity period. Meanwhile, for users who wish to avail of more data and higher internet speeds, Airtel is also offering a Rs 98 recharge pack, which gives 2 GB of 3G or 4G data with a validity period of 28 days.

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has extended its Prime Membership scheme at no additional cost until March 2019. RJIL had started its annual subscription service on April 1, 2017. All Jio Prime members who had subscribed to the exclusive membership benefits until March 31, 2018, will get another year of complimentary prime benefits at no additional fee. This is a limited period offer. The existing Prime members can avail of the complimentary membership through the MyJio app. However, for new Jio users, Jio Prime Membership will be available at an annual membership fee of Rs 99. Recently, Prime users were given additional 10 GB data at the same price. Reliance Jio Prime Mem­ber­­ship offers free subscription to 550 plus live TV channels, 6,000 movies, millions of videos/TV shows, over 140 million songs, over 5,000 magazines, over 500 newspapers, etc. In addition, some exclusive content sharing options are available for only Jio Prime members. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new prepaid plan, which is priced at Rs 118. The plan provides 1 GB of 3G/4G data along with un­limited voice calls. The unlimited calling benefit includes roaming, except in the Delhi and Mumbai circles. The new prepaid plan comes with a validity of 28 days. In addition, BSNL subscribers will get free access to a personalised ringback tone, but this scheme is valid only in the Tamil Nadu circle. Meanwhile, BSNL has launched another prepaid plan that is priced at Rs 379 and provides 4 GB of 3G or 4G data per day, along with unlimited BSNL-to-BSNL voice calls capped at 30 minutes per day with a validity of 30 days. However, the plan is valid only in the Kerala circle.
