Vodafone is firmly adhering to its statement that it has no tax liability over its 2007 purchase of Hutchison Whampoa Limited’s mobile business in India, say news reports.

The Supreme Court is set to hear the tax case on July 19, 2011 and Vodafone said it would continue to defend its position vigorously.
