The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has released a statement on the Union Cabinet approving the National Telecom Policy (NTP).
In the statement, the industry body says, ?FICCI welcomes the announcement of Cabinet approval of National Telecom Policy 2012.?
?We believe that the NTP 2012 has several forward looking steps including those which embrace new technologies such as cloud computing, next generation networks and IPv6. These will ultimately help usher in a new era for the Indian private sector and consumers ? who are avid users of telecom services.?
