VSNL has planned a $500 million capital expenditure for financial year 2007-08. The funds will be used for launching Wi-Max services in 120 cities across India by March 2008, expanding network capacity and continuing with other ongoing projects. A portion of the capital expenditure will also be invested in VSNL’s South African venture, Neotel.
