
Vodafone Essar plans to roll out 3G services in a phased manner by end this fiscal, according to news reports.
According to Naveen Chopra, director, enterprise and carrier business, Vodafone Essar, the operator is currently conducting trials are on and the service is expected to be launched in a phased manner by March 2011.
He added that the roll-out is expected to be on a city-wise basis and not pan India or state wise. The telecom firm, which recently launched fixed line data and voice services for enterprise customers or mobile corporate customers is eyeing to double its revenue from such customers in five years from 8?10 per cent currently, he added.
