Vodafone India has introduced an SMS service that enables users to identify blood donors.
To avail the service, subscribers have to send BLOOD as an SMS to 55444. The matching search result for a potential donor is narrowed down to the subscriber’s pin code, thereby helping them to act immediately.
Users will be charged Rs 1 per SMS for the service. The service is supported by Innoz.
