Vodafone Essar has launched a mobile newspaper service, Newswrap for customers across Tamil Nadu. Newswrap provides the reader with a brief synopsis of the news bulletin and includes different genres of news, such as national, international, business, current affairs, entertainment and sports.
To activate this service, Vodafone customers have to send MN as an SMS to 111. Thereafter, the user will receive the link for the Vodafone Newswrap WAP page, which they will have to click on. The user can subscribe to this service on a daily (for Re 1), weekly (for Rs 5) or monthly basis (for Rs 20).
