Vodafone Business Services (VBS), the enterprise arm of Vodafone India, has introduced international toll free services (ITFS) for Indian enterprises.
The service will enable VBS? enterprise customers to communicate through an international toll free number while roaming. According to VBS, customers will save money while using the service, since the billing will be done in Indian rupees instead in foreign currency, which is the standard practice in the industry when calls are routed through international operators. Further, VBS will offer ITFS service in various countries, thereby doing away with the need for enterprise customers to tie-up with multiple service providers.
Commenting on the launch of the service, Naveen Chopra, director, VBS, says, ?Having built a robust infrastructure over the last three years, we are now looking at wireline services as a key revenue driver for VBS. Keeping an eye on the increasing mobility need of the business of all size, the company has introduced ITFS to address communication requirements of enterprises in India. Initially we are providing this service in all major countries and going forward we will introduce the service in more countries.?
