Vodafone is reportedly planning to increase its stake in Vodafone Egypt from 50.1 per cent to 55 per cent. The company is also planning to spend around $200 million to strengthen its telecom presence in the country. Emerging markets have become increasingly significant for the company as revenue growth has slowed down in its core European business.
