Vodafone India has restructured its commercial team ahead of its merger with Idea Cellular. The company has appointed Kavita Nair as associate director, commercial operations. In her new role, she will handle the customer service division and will continue to oversee the retail and digital divisions of the company. Further, Avneesh Khosla has been appointed associate director, consumer business. He will be handling voice, data and value-added services such as content aggregation. Siddharth Banerjee will continue as executive vice-president, brand and marketing, while Arvind Nevatia will take charge as business head of the Punjab circle. According to Vodafone, the purpose of the restructuring exercise is to give crucial roles to officials that must be retained after the merger with Idea Cellular.
