Vodafone India reported a 17.7 per cent growth in its service revenues, which increased from ?937 million for the quarter ended December 2013 to ?1,103 million for the quarter ended December 2014. Meanwhile, the company?s total average revenue per user (ARPU) has declined by two per cent from Rs 193 to Rs 189 during the same period. However, the company reported an increase both in voice and data usage. While the data usage nearly doubled from 26,430 TB in December 2013 to 51,889 TB in December 2014, voice usage grew by 6.4 per cent from 158.40 billion minutes to 168.62 billion minutes.
In terms of the half yearly analysis, the company reported a 69.8 per cent increase in its adjusted operating profits, which reduced from ?116 million for the half year ended September 2013 to ?197 million for the half year ended September 2014. Meanwhile, the company?s revenues grew from ?2.04 billion to ?2.05 billion during the same period. Further, the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation also witnessed an increase from ?604 million to ?607 million.
