Vodafone India has launched an ?M-Pesa App?, which enables consumers to pay their bills and recharge their mobile from anywhere, anytime. Users can load their M-Pesa wallet through net banking/debit card through the newly launched application.
The M-Pesa App runs across platforms including Android, iPhone, BB and Windows. To provide additional benefit to its new users, Vodafone India is offering a 5 per cent cash back offer on the payments made using the App (upto a maximum of Rs 50 per month).
Commenting on the launch of the application, Suresh Sethi, business head, M-Pesa, Vodafone India said, ?Vodafone has always been at the forefront in launching innovative products and services relevant to the needs of our customers. Our newly launched ?M-Pesa App? is highly safe and secure and has been designed to empower and provide the ease and convenience to all our customers to transfer money instantly, pay utility bills, recharge phones, etc. through their mobile handset.”
