Vodafone India?s chief technology security officer (CTSO) has put in his papers at the company following a nine year stint with the company. He is joining global consultancy firm Ernst & Young as partner-information and cyber security.

Cooper had joined Vodafone India in 2006 and was responsible for ensuring the company’s information security posture and setting up the complete information security and privacy. He was also responsible for ensuring compliance with International Organization for Standardisation certifications in the organisation.

Before joining Vodafone India, Cooper served HSBC for about nine years as assistant vice-president, information security. He holds MBA degree in Information Technology and Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications.
