
Vodafone India aims to become the third largest player in the enterprise segment by 2015.
In 2013, the enterprise business accounted for 12 per cent of Vodafone India?s total revenues, which stood at Rs 376.06 billion.
At present, the operator offers mobility and connectivity solutions to enterprises through its enterprise unit – Vodafone Business Services (VBS). VBS operates in four key segments – very large global enterprise, large companies, government and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The company has over 65,000 customers, including large and SMEs.
With an aim to reach leadership position in the enterprise segment, Vodafone is banking on its state-of-the-art Super Network Operating Centre (SNOC) and Super Network Experience Centre (SNEC) established in Pune in 2012.
Spread over 40,000 square feet, the SNOC has been designed to be the operational hub of the operator. It monitors and helps resolve network related issues across 22 circles in real time, on both proactive and reactive basis. Meanwhile, SNEC is an engagement platform designed for enterprise customers. Spread over 2500 square feet area, it has on display the complete suite of communication solutions VBS, including enterprise mobility offering and machine-to-machine solutions.
