Vodafone Idea refarms 3G spectrum to 4G across 3,200 sites in Bengaluru

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has refarmed its 3G spectrum to 4G across 3,200 sites in Bengaluru.

With this, the operator has substantially enhanced GIGAnet 4G capacity in the city.

However, Vi will continue to offer 2G services in Bengaluru.

According to the operator, the existing 4G infrastructure, ramped up with the migration of 3G spectrum to 4G, gives Vi GIGAnet 4G the triple advantages of wider coverage, network quality as well as stronger traffic carriage capacity in Bengaluru.
