Vodafone Idea Limted (VIL) has set up war rooms in order to monitor its network as cyclone Nisarga closes in. Further, the telco has also prepared its teams to manage any emergency situation to ensure connectivity.
As per the telco, it is prepared to face the cyclone Nisarga forecasted to hit the western coast and is taking all necessary precautions to keep the networks safe.
If required, VIL is ready to work with other operators to open intra circle roaming (ICR), and will work closely with partners and government agencies to ensure stable telecom connectivity during the cyclone, VIL added.
