Vodafone Idea pays additional Rs 10 billion to DoT towards AGR dues

Vodafone Idea has paid an additional Rs 10 billion to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) towards adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues.

Earlier, the company had paid Rs 25 billion to the government as AGR dues. In all, Vodafone owes Rs 530 billion to the DoT.

Meanwhile, as per industry sources, the DoT is planning to send notices to Tata Teleservices Limited for recovery of full dues within a day or two. The company has already paid Rs 21.97 billion to the government. However, the DoT’s calculations peg the outstanding amount at over Rs 140 billion.
