Vodafone Idea Limited has forged a partnership with IBM in an effort to improve customer experience for its enterprise partners by adopting open source big data technology. The latest partnership builds on an existing partnership between Vodafone Idea and IBM and Red Hat to accelerate network and IT modernisation.
IBM has been a strategic IT partner to Vodafone Idea for more around 14 years.
As VIL’s strategic technology partner, IBM is leading the end-to-end implementation and management of the Big Data Platform.
As a part of the implementation, IBM will be responsible for program management, consulting, system integration, infrastructure services, application operations, and maintenance support. Additionally, IBM will also help in enhancing network security.
