Vodafone Idea Limited has launched TurboNet 4G in Nashik where it has successfully integrated the Vodafone and Idea networks.
The launch of TurboNet 4G follows the successful consolidation of its radio network integration and the deployment of new age technologies such as spectrum re-farming, M-MIMO, 4G on 900 MHz, TDD and small cells to further boost network capacity and coverage across large parts of the country.
TurboNet 4G is now available to Vodafone Idea customers in key cities of Nashik, Ahmednagar, Baramati, Wardha, Yavatmal, Parbhani, Beed, Karad, Gondiya, Ratnagiri in the districts of Osmanabad, Hingoli, Nandurbar, Parbhani & Washim in Maharashtra.

The integrated Vodafone Idea network in the five districts of Maharashtra is now bigger, stronger & faster. With 300 sites in Nashik, the coverage for Vodafone and Idea brands has increased by 32 per cent and 21 per cent respectively.
Vodafone Idea’s TurboNet 4G is being rolled out across the country over the last few months. The network integration exercise is continuing at a rapid pace with 84 per cent of districts in India already consolidated.
To integrate and optimise the network across markets, seamlessly, war rooms have been set-up at national and circle levels to monitor and manage network performance on a real time basis led by a 24/7 functioning world-class super network operating centre (SNOC) in Pune.
