Vodafone Idea in talks with Oaktree Capital backed consortium to raise around $2.5 billion

Vodafone Idea is reportedly in discussion with a consortium backed by Oaktree Capital to raise $2 -$2.5billion.

As per industry sources, the Oaktree Capital backed consortium consists of companies like Varde Partners. The consortium has proposed to invest around $2 billion to $2.5 billion in Vodafone Idea.

Vodafone Idea is planning to raise as much as Rs 250 billion over the next two to three months.
