Vodafone Idea emerges as fastest 4G network in Uttar Pradesh, says Ookla

As per Ookla, Vodafone TurboNet 4G has been verified as the fastest 4G network in Uttar Pradesh (UP).

The results were based on speed tests done by 4G users across UP.

Commenting on the development, Vishant Vora, chief technology officer, Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) said, “With the deployment of best in class technology, we continue to materially enhance data capacity and improve data speeds in the integrated markets. This Ookla verification is a recognition that we are moving in the right direction.”

Further, Amit Bedi, business head, UP East, VIL said, “The latest verification further motivates us to keep scaling up our ongoing efforts to enhance network connectivity and digital experience for our valued customers. This will provide an impetus for our customers consume more of the premium content offerings from Sony Liv, Zee5, Shemaroo, Hoi Choi etc. through the Vodafone Play App.”
