Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has appointed Shailendra Singh as Operations Director. Singh will be based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat in his new appointment.
Prior to joining Vi, Singh was Airtel’s chief executive officer (CEO) for the Uttar Pradesh East and West region from March 2016 to May 2022. He is a long-time Airtel executive and has worked with the operator for over 10 years.
Prior to that, Singh had also worked at Tata Teleservices as head, mobile business, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and MPCG Gujarat for various periods between 2009 and 2016.
