Vodafone Idea admits inadvertent error in reporting January 2021 subscribers’ data to TRAI; submits the revised data

According to Vodafone Idea (Vi), it had made an inadvertent error in reporting the number of subscribers addition in January 2021 to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

In this regard, the telco said that it has now corrected and submitted the revised data to TRAI.

According to industry sources, Vi has informed the regulator that there was some error in plotting the data for UP (West). “We noted an inadvertent error in subscriber data for January 2021 submitted to TRAI in regular course. We have corrected the same and duly reported the revised data to TRAI,” said Vi.
