Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has announced that its Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Arvind Nevatia, has resigned after an 11-year stint with the company to pursue opportunities outside the organisation.
According to the company, Nevatia will be relieved from his duties on or before July 28, 2026.
During his tenure, Vi’s enterprise business strengthened its presence in areas such as the internet of things (IoT), connected vehicle ecosystems and smart prepaid electricity meter deployments. He also led initiatives focused on digital transformation for micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs) through cloud, security and managed service offerings.
Nevatia additionally oversaw the launch of internal big data and artificial intelligence (AI)/ machine learning (ML) analytics platforms, along with a cloud contact centre as a service (CCaaS) platform aimed at enabling predictive operations and intelligent customer engagement. He also led the establishment of a network operations centre (NOC) supported by advanced AI capabilities.
Vi said Sunil Kumar will succeed Nevatia. Kumar currently serves as chief growth officer at Hyderabad-based cloud communications company Tanla Platforms. Kumar brings 29 years of industry experience, including a previous 15-year stint at Vi. He was earlier the chief executive officer of Constl, a Space World Group company, and has also worked with Tata Communications and Bharti Infotel. His earlier roles also include positions at GTL Limited and Sprint RPG India.
