Viraj Pradhan: Country Sales Manager – India, Keysight Technologies

Viraj Pradhan has over 30 years of international experience in sales and marketing across telecom, IT and service assurance. He has driven go-to-market strategies and built long-term customer and partner relationships across ASEAN, India, Japan, China, Taiwan, Europe and the Middle East. He now leads Keysight’s India business, focused on the country’s rapidly expanding technology and electronics landscape. India’s trajectory, as Pradhan sees it, is being shaped by government programmes, including design-linked incentive, production-linked incentive, the India Semiconductor Mission and National Quantum Mission, alongside Make in India and defence modernisation, translating into strong business growth across aerospace and defence, AI infrastructure and wireless communications, including 5G and 6G. He says, “Keysight provides end-to-end solutions across the product life cycle including design, emulation and test, offering extraordinary capabilities to our customers for seamless design and test across the entire product workflow.”

On broader trends, Pradhan identifies AI and sovereign security as two overarching drivers. Further, high speed digital interfaces, network fabric, telecom infrastructure, edge computing and cybersecurity are the defining technology themes, further reinforced by domestic 4G/5G roll-out, indigenous innovation and the Bharat 6G Alliance.

His responsibilities span managing sales, presales and channel partners across India, with the overall accountability for Keysight’s test and measurement portfolio in the region. A central focus is cultivating strong executive-level relationships across customer segments, ensuring Keysight stays closely aligned with their priorities and growth objectives. As he says, “This combination of strategy, execution and customer engagement means we are truly working with our customers in partnership to address their needs.”

His core strengths lie in translating business vision into clear, actionable goals, building high-performing teams around measurable outcomes and sustaining momentum through trust, open communication and effective collaboration.

Pradhan holds a master’s degree in management science with a specialisation in finance and marketing and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering. An avid sports enthusiast, he follows cricket, football and Formula One and enjoys reading. “Family is an important part of my life and a strong source of support and balance. I value spending quality time with them, whether through simple everyday moments or shared interests and activities,” he shares.
