Vijayakumar Arumuga Nadar, Chief AI Officer, NeevCloud
During his two-decade-long association with the digital infrastructure domain, Vijayakumar Arumuga Nadar has specialised in enterprise-grade solutions spanning cloud, virtualisation, edge computing and AI, while building and mentoring high-performance global teams. As chief AI officer at NeevCloud, he leads the AI strategy and vision for a platform purpose-built to redefine how enterprises access and deploy AI at scale.
Nadar drives NeevCloud’s overall AI vision, architecture and innovation road map across enterprise AI infrastructure, orchestration platforms and frontier initiatives, including space-based AI infrastructure. He works with go-to-market and solutions teams to translate AI potential into tangible business outcomes, shaping thought leadership and building enterprise partnerships across sectors. “Seeing an organisation go from AI curiosity to AI deployment on our platform, that journey never gets old,” he says.
Nadar sees the convergence of AI and cloud infrastructure reshaping telecom in ways unseen since the shift to 4G. He expects agentic AI systems, which act autonomously, to become central to network operations, customer experience and predictive maintenance. Confidential AI, sovereign AI and data residency will, he believes, become board-level priorities as regulatory pressure intensifies globally. “The players that invest in AI infrastructure today will define the competitive landscape of the next decade,”
he says.
However, he believes that the foremost challenge is accelerating AI adoption at scale while ensuring reliability, security, affordability and cost-efficiency. “Our target is to democratise access to AI infrastructure through our AI SuperCloud platform, enabling organisations of all sizes to build and deploy intelligent systems without the traditional overhead,” he says. With industries such as telecom, banking, financial services and insurance, and manufacturing at an inflection point, his focus is on bridging the gap between AI potential and enterprise-grade execution.
His core strengths lie in translating complex AI concepts into clear business value for chief experience officers and partners and forging partnerships that amplify platform impact. Nadar holds a BE in computer science and a master’s in systems. Outside work, he likes playing badminton and listening to podcasts on technology, leadership and ideas. He is married with two children, a daughter in seventh grade and a son in second grade. “My wife is a homemaker, the quiet force behind everything that runs smoothly at home, and I deeply admire the dedication and love she brings,” he notes.
