?Establishing a sound security infrastructure is a necessity?
What are the challenges and targets before the company in India?
Several challenges remain. People are not fully aware of the need for security or safety in our country. We have to drive home the critical importance of having a good security infrastructure. This is the biggest challenge we face.
Secondly, making people understand the necessity is another challenge. As India is a vast country, extending one?s reach to various places is an immense task that has to be accomplished with planning. That involves a lot of logistics.
What trends have you witnessed and which ones do you expect in the security space?
The industry is in a transitional phase. It is going through a phase similar to the mobile space, back when the mobile phone was very expensive. Thereafter, when the demand increased, the price decreased. Likewise, as demands rise, prices fall and almost all security products which people hitherto considered a luxury will become household appliances.
Hence, we see an uptrend for security products in India in the coming years.
