Videocon Telecom has launched a mobile-based Ayurvedic health service – M-health for subscribers.

Using the service, subscribers can seek health advice from ayurvedic experts through their mobile phones. Users can also order medicines on cash on delivery model using the service. Videocon Telecom is providing M-health service cross 1300 cities in India.

The operator has developed this service in collaboration with JIVA Ayurveda Group. Subscribers will be charges Rs 6 per minute for each call made to the Ayurveda Telemedicine Center, which is responsible for managing the M-health service.

Commenting on the launch of the service, Arvind Bali, director and chief executive officer, Videocon Telecom, says, ?With the launch of this service, we seek to bring convenience and affordable healthcare services to our consumers. This new service shall enable our subscribers to get in touch directly with certified Ayurvedic doctors round the clock and discuss their health issues and seek treatment advice.?
