Videocon launches a range of feature phones

Videocon Mobiles has launched four handsets, the V1542, the V1548, the V1531+ and the V1580.

The V1542, the V1531+ and the V1548 has a 2.6 inch screen and a 1.3 megapixel camera, while the V1580 has a 3.2 inch screen and a 2 megapixel camera. The dual SIM phones also pack in an audio and video player, an FM radio and the movie juke box application. Other features include USB connectivity and support for GPRS and the internet.

Commenting on the launch, Bipin Narang, marketing head, Videocon Mobiles said, “Bringing affordable yet technologically advanced products is what we strive for at Videocon Mobiles, wherein we intend to bring to our consumers the best and the latest features. Through this new range we aim to re-define standards in the touch and feature phone category, wherein we bring a perfect amalgamation of value-for-money, technology and features to the Indian consumers.”

The V1542 and the V1548 are priced at Rs 2,099 and Rs 2,399, respectively. The V1531+ is priced at Rs 1,850 and the V1580 is priced at Rs 2,999.
