Vi writes to DoT stating that it is closer to receiving equity funding

Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has written to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) informing that it is closer to securing equity funding as it has term sheets from potential investors.

Vi added that one of the potential investors will also seek a meeting with the authorities to get assurances on continuing government support for Vi.

The external fundraise would move Vi a step closer towards its Rs 650 billion capex plan for the next four years.
