Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has announced plans to extend its 5G services to additional telecom circles, including Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka, and Punjab. With this expansion, Vi’s 5G footprint will cover a total of five circles.
While it remains uncertain if more regions will be added this month, the telco has already met the government’s minimum rollout obligations (MRO) for 5G. The focus now shifts to deploying more 5G radios and sites to keep pace with other telecom operators.
Currently in the early phase of its 5G journey, Vi is expected to continue network optimisation efforts for improved user experience.
