Vi names Ravinder Takkar as new chairman; Himanshu Kapania to step down

Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has named Ravinder Takkar as the new chairman, effective August 19, 2022.

Takkar will take over from Himanshu Kapania, who will continue to be a part of Vi’s board as a non-executive director.

According to the telco, Takkar would bring in his vast experience of over three years in guiding the company in his role as chairman. Takkar has served as the managing director and CEO of Vi since August 2019.
