Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has filed a review petition in the Supreme Court (SC), aiming to get its adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues lowered.

The review petition follows the SC’s recent rejection of petitions by telecom operators including Vi and Bharti Airtel for rectification of alleged errors in the calculation of AGR related dues payable by them.

Vi faces AGR dues of Rs 582.54 billion, of which it has paid Rs 78.54 billion while around Rs 503.99 billion still remains outstanding.

In its recent review petition, Vi has told the apex court that the firm is making a loss and can “go under” if the recalculation of AGR dues is not allowed.
