Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has announced significant network enhancements across Haryana. The company has successfully deployed the most efficient 900 MHz spectrum at more than 1500 sites and doubled capacity on more than 1200 sites from 5MHz to 10 MHz across key locations. These include Panipat, Sonipat, Bhiw Palwal, Jind, Sirsa, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Bahadurgarh and more. The upgrade will enable Vi users to enjoy a superior indoor network experience, especially in urban densely populated locations. In addition, Vi has upgraded its spectrum in the 2100 MHz band from 15 MHz across more than 1900 sites in Haryana, enabling customers to experience faster data on Vi GIGAnet.
Vi has also installed more than 950 new sites in the state. This capacity expansion and upgradation is broader strategy to upgrade its network infrastructure and provide Vi’s best-ever network ex its customers.
