Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi), has doubled its voice over long-term evolution (VoLTE) capacity in Maharashtra and Goa to enhance voice calling experience for its customers in the two states. This network initiative will enable more Vi customers to make calls using VoLTE and avail HD quality clear voice with superfast call connect. VoLTE calling facility is available to Vi customers across all towns and villages in Maharashtra and Goa.
Vi has also been ramping up 4G capacity in the two states over the past year with additional deployment of 900 MHz and 2100 MHz spectrum. The telco has the highest deployment of the most efficient 900 MHz band spectrum in the telecom circle.
