Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has confirmed that its adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues for the period from FY 2006-07 to FY 2018-19 will remain frozen as of December 31, 2025.
As per the repayment plan outlined by the telecom operator, it will pay Rs 1.24 billion annually over the next six years, from March 2026 to March 2031. Thereafter, Vi will pay Rs 1 billion annually for four years, from March 2032 to March 2035. The balance AGR dues will be cleared in equal annual instalments over six years, from March 2036 to March 2041.
In addition, the telecom operator said that a committee will be constituted by the Department of Telecommunications to reassess the remaining AGR dues, and the committee’s decision will be final.
