Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has reportedly started its 5G network trials in Delhi, following earlier rollouts in Mumbai, Patna, and Chandigarh. Select users in the capital have received notifications confirming participation in the trial, with reported download speeds exceeding 100 Mbps.
Currently the trial is limited to a small group of users, however, it is expected to expand to more customers soon.
Further, Vi plans to gradually extend 5G coverage across its 17 licensed telecom circles.
