Valtech Communications, Inc., a supplier of next-generation triple play services in Canada, has entered into an agreement with Ericsson for using the latter’s internet protocol TV (IPTV) solution.

Valtech Communications, Inc., a supplier of next-generation tripleplay services in Canada, has entered into an agreement with Ericsson for using the latter’s internet protocol TV (IPTV) solution.

The solution consists of next-generation broadband access, multiservice edge routers, video compression, IPTV middleware and content distribution platforms. The solution will enable Valtech to offer a wide range of standard, high-definition broadcast channels and interactive services to its customers.
