Vaishali Kasture is set to join Microsoft as the general manager for its small, medium, and corporate (SMC) business in India and South Asia.
“Microsoft has strengthened its presence in India over the past three decades. I look forward to working with customers and the rich partner ecosystem to make a difference and innovate on behalf of and for our customers,” Kasture stated.
Kasture stepped down from her role as the interim country head for Amazon Web Services (AWS) in India in December 2023. Her transition to Microsoft marks the second high-profile move from AWS to Microsoft in recent months, following Puneet Chandok, her predecessor at AWS, who took over as the head of Microsoft India and South Asia in September 2023.
