UTStarcom has signed a contract with Taiwan’s cable and inter net service provider Markwell Industrial Company for deploying IPTV services across Taiwan.

UTStarcom has signed a contract with Taiwan’s cable and internet service provider Markwell Industrial Company for deploying IPTV services across Taiwan. Under the contract, UTStarcom will provide system capacity for 500,000 subscribers and 20,000 set-top boxes.
