UTL Neolync bags order for initial production of JioPhone Next 4G smartphones

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has granted an initial production order for the JioPhone Next 4G smartphone to UTL Neolyncs.

The smartphone which has been developed in partnership with Google is expected to cost around Rs 3,500.

As per industry sources, RIL is planning to make a five-million-unit order, the initial part of which has gone to UTL Neolyncs, a joint venture between UTL Group and Neolync Solutions.

RIL plans to launch the JioPhone Next on September 10, 2021 and expects to bring the entire order to market in the next six months.
